Personal Voicemail Timeout
Controlling whether or not an external voicemail or the SpectrumVoIP voicemail is routed to.

When forwarding to an external number, Answering Rules ring timeout can be adjusted to control whether or not an unanswered call is managed by a user's SpectrumVoIP voicemail inbox or the external number's voicemail inbox.
You will need to know what the external number's voicemail timeout is.
Typically, cell phone users have a 30 second timeout by default. This can be verified by calling the number and taking note of how long it takes to route to voicemail.
Access your Answering Rules at your stratus.spectrumvoip.com online portal or perhaps the mobile/desktop apps.
Typically at the top/left section of the screen you will find the “Ring for” toggle.
With “Ring for” set below the external number's voicemail timeout, the SpectrumVoIP user's voicemail inbox will be routed to.
With “Ring for” set above the external number's voicemail timeout, the external number's voicemail inbox will be routed to.
