Scope: Voicemail Transcription can be enabled by Office Manager users.
Voicemail Transcriptions
In some circumstances, it may be necessary to enable voicemail transcriptions for yourself or other users. This can be a wonderful solution for users with accessibility issues.
Note: Enabling voicemail transcriptions costs $2.99 per user.
Enable Transcriptions for a Single User
Enabling voicemail transcriptions can be done on the Voicemail tab of the user's profile settings. To do this…
- Navigate to the Users page.

Search for the user needing voicemail transcriptions enabled.
- Click the Edit icon.
- On the Voicemail tab, use Voicemail Transcription drop-down to select Deepgram if transcriptions should be enabled.
- Once you are done, click the Save button.
✔ Now when you receive a voicemail, you can listen to the voicemail and read its transcription.
Enable Transcriptions for Multiple Users
Alternatively, you can enable voicemail transcriptions for multiple users at once. This can be done using the Bulk Edit feature of the Users page.
To do this…
- Navigate to the Users page.

Select the users that will need voicemail transcriptions.
- Click the Bulk Edit button.
- In the Bulk Edit User menu, scroll down to and select Enable Transcriptions.
- Use the drop-down to select Deepgram if transcriptions should be enabled.
- Once you are done, click the Save button.
✔ Now when the users receive a voicemail, they can listen to the voicemail and read its transcription.
