When experiencing issues calling or faxing a certain phone number, it is a good idea to place a test call/fax to another number to see if the issues persist. Whenever there is not an extra phone number to use on your account for test calling, using free test numbers is a great alternative.

Caller ID Number Playback Test
When (804) 222-1111 is called, the system will read your 10-digit Caller ID number back to you before announcing the menu options available.
✓ This is useful for confirming which phone number callers see when you call them.
Option 1: Touch Tone Test
When you press 1 on the dial pad, you will be able to test how your phone dials menu options.
To do this:
- Press 1 on the dial pad.
- Once you hear a beep, enter in digits using the dial pad.
- Press # to send.

Depending on how your business handles calls, it may be necessary to route/forward calls to an international phone number.

Place a Test Fax
When you are having issues sending a fax to a certain numbers, it is recommended to try faxing a different number. This can help confirm if your fax service or the other party's fax service is having issues.
To place a test fax, send a fax to either 1 (888) 473-2963 or (215) 825-8792.
The fax servers registered to those numbers will send a fax back to the fax number you sent the fax from. If a response is not received, then your fax service may need further troubleshooting.
