Adjust Browser Permissions for StratusHUB
Review how you can adjust your preferred browser's permissions to troubleshoot issues with audio and call notifications.
Different browser permissions can affect how our apps and platform function and can even stop our app and platform from working properly. These permissions may look different depending on the browser you are using.
Use the module below to check how permissions are adjusted for the browser you are using. While these are only the most common browsers and it may look different depending on the version you are using, the core concepts shown here are the same.
Chrome (Version 137.0.7151.69)
1. Click the View site information
icon on your browser's search bar and review the permissions that are shown by default.
2. To view all browser settings for StratusHUB, click Settings. 
3. To view all permissions for StratusHUB, click More settings and permissions.

4. In the Permissions section, make sure the following permissions are set to “Allow”:
• Microphone - Allows the microphone of the audio devices connected to your PC to be used.
• Notifications - Allows notifications for calls and messages to pop up.
• Pop-ups and redirects - Allows notifications for calls and messages to pop up.
• Sound - Ensures that audio from StratusHUB is played instead of being muted automatically.
• Camera (Optional) - Allows the app to access your camera if you will be using video calls.
✔ Once those permissions are allowed, StratusHUB should now allow you to talk with callers, show notifications for calls and messages, and allow your camera to be used for video calls (if you are using this feature).
Microsoft Edge (Version 137.0.3296.62)
1. Click the View site information
icon on your browser's search bar and check the Permissions for this site section. 
2. To view all permissions for this site, click Permissions for this site. 
3. Make sure the following permissions are set to “Allow.”
• Microphone - Allows the microphone of the audio devices connected to your PC to be used.
• Notifications - Allows notifications for calls and messages to pop up.
• Pop-ups and redirects - Allows notifications for calls and messages to pop up.
• Camera (Optional) - Allows the app to access your camera if you will be using video calls.
✔ Once those permissions are allowed, StratusHUB should now allow you to talk with callers, show notifications for calls and messages, and allow your camera to be used for video calls (if you are using this feature).
Firefox (Version 139.0.1)
1. Click the Open application menu
icon on the top-right of your web browser and select Settings. 
2. Type “Permissions” in the search bar to quickly find the Permissions section.
3. Click a Settings… button next to either Camera or Microphone. 
4. In the Settings menu for one of the permissions, make sure that permission for https://app.spectrumvoip.com is set to Allow. 
5. Click the Save Changes button. ![]()
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other permission that needs to be allowed.
7. To make sure pop-ups are allowed, click the Exceptions… button next to Block pop-ups and third-party redirects.
8. In the Allowed Websites - Pop-ups and Third-Party Redirects menu, paste https://app.spectrumvoip.com/ in the Address of website box and click the Allow button. 
9. Click the Save Changes button. ![]()
✔ Once these permissions are allowed, StratusHUB should now allow you to talk with callers, show notifications for calls and messages, and allow your camera to be used for video calls (if you are using this feature).
