Integrate Zoom for Your Grandstream Conference Phone

Step 1: Install Zoom
The GS Market of your Grandstream conference phone allows you to download and use Zoom. To get started with using Zoom on your conference phone…
- Swipe left on the phone's screen to view the conference phone's menu and applications.
- Open the GS Market application.
- In the GS Market menu, tap Download for the Zoom option.
Step 2: Install Google Play and GMS
To allow Zoom to function and sync with the conference phone properly, GMS and Google Play will need to be downloaded from the GS Market application.
To do so…
- Open GS Market.
- Tap the Download option for Google Play.
- Allow Google Play to fully download and install.
- Tap Download for the GMS option.
- When GMS is prompted to be downloaded, the conference phone will need to install additional applications that will run in the background to allow GMS-reliant applications to run.
Tap the ONE-CLICK SETUP button to start installing these. - Allow the background applications to fully install.
✔ Once these background applications have been installed, you should see them listed as “Already Installed”.
If you no longer want to use Teams or Zoom for your conference phone, you can tap the ONE-CLICK UNINSTALL button to remove these applications.
Step 3: Log Into Zoom
Once you have downloaded the Zoom application to your conference phone, opening the Zoom application will prompt you to log in using your Zoom credentials.
Note: If you do not have a Zoom login, you can tap Sign Up to create a Zoom account or tap Join a Meeting to enter an active meeting as a guest.
Step 4: Update Zoom
Once you log into Zoom, you will be prompted to update Zoom to its current version.
- On the update prompt that appears, tap the Lightning option to open the conference phones web browser. Doing so will open Zoom's web page for updates.
- In the Zoom Client for Meetings section, tap the Download from Zoom button.
- Once a file named zoom.apk is fully downloaded, swipe down on the conference phone's screen to tap the Download complete notification.
- The conference phone will notify you that it will need permission to allow File Manager to install unknown apps. Tap the notification to open the Install unknown apps setting menu.
- Tap the Allow from this source toggle to allow File Manager to install the zoom.apk file.
- Swipe down on the conference phone's screen to tap the Download complete notification again.
- Doing so will pop up an Unknown notification that will show the progress of the app being installed. Allow the Zoom app to fully install its update.
- Once the updated Zoom application has installed, tap the Open option to navigate back to Zoom.
✔ After agreeing, you will be able to view Zoom's options for starting and joining meetings. You should also be able to see your Zoom calendar and any upcoming meetings.
There will also be options for viewing your Team Chats, past Meetings, Docs, and Contacts.
